Campaign ideas for Black Friday

With Black Friday just around the corner, success will come from working smarter, not harder.

Great offers may bring in new customers, but the easiest wins lie within your existing database. By leveraging segmentation, rewards, and upsells, you can maximise not just conversions, but more importantly profit, and make a real impact during one of the year’s biggest trading moments.

Let’s dive into some campaign ideas:

Early access
Offer early access to secret products or offers to customers with specific tags (e.g. VIP, long-term customer).

GWP + discount builder
Implement a tiered gift system where the value of the free gift increases with the purchase amount. This can motivate higher spending.

Minimum spend discounts
Offer a discount or a free item when the customer spends over $X

Cross-sell discounts
Encourage customers to explore different categories by offering a discount e.g. ‘Buy any dress and get 20% off shoes.’

Tiered discounts
Create tiered discounts where the savings increase with the quantity purchased e.g. ‘Buy 1 Get 10% off', Buy 2 Get 15% off, Buy 3 Get 20% off.’

Exclusive bundles
Create special product bundles that include secret products, available only to tagged members.

Last Friday, we celebrated in a big way at the Best Awards!
